The charter flight has arrived and will continue in the next twoweeks. The 25 flights managed by UPS will transport a total of over3 million pounds of materials - equivalent to 14 complete 747freighters. The goods will include masks, gloves, medical swabs,and thermometers.

Under the leadership of FEMA and the White House Task Force, theAirbridge project is a partnership between UPS and major healthcareproviders in the United States, including CardinalHealth, as wellas the federal government. UPS provides air freight brokerageservices on third-party aircraft and UPS owned aircraft. The goodswill be distributed to hospitals and COVID-19 hotspots across thecountry according to FEMA's instructions.

Meanwhile, UPS's healthcare department opened a new 450000square foot healthcare distribution center on April 4th, withdedicated space for FEMA's use. The facility is only a few milesaway from the company's automated global aviation hub UPS Worldportlocated in Louisville, Kentucky. With this proximity, UPS canquickly complete orders delivered overnight anywhere in the UnitedStates
